May 2013: Little dog in a little car... We were washing the car & Ziggaro disappeared. This is where I found him.
September 2017: Always dignified.
Photo by my dear friend Ann. Her heart is with the wild ponies of Assateague Island, but she effortlessly captured the essence of my best friend. See her work here, it's amazing: Ann Richardson Photos
October 2011: The tiniest supervisor during the building of our new house. As usual, he kept us on task and towing the line.
April 2017: Bundle up buttercup. One of the first times we thought this would be his last trip to the beach.

2010'ish? Ziggaro much prefers being in the buff.
October 2009: Many of our happiest memories were made at our OBX beach house. Doing things as simple as playing ball in the sand bring such an intricate level of joy, it's almost unbelievable.
July 2017: This is one of my all time favorites. It was taken on my 40th birthday, which turned out to be one of the weirdest days ever... Zig was having a terrible day. And we felt it was time to say goodbye. I spent the morning trying to locate a local vet who could come for a home visit. Thankfully, none were available. Later, as I reached mindlessly down to pick this plant up for the trash, Ziggaro intervened & reminded me (once again) that there is often life amidst death & beauty in everything. And that sometimes you just have to look harder to see it.
June 2017: Rolling off the beach with Daddy after a long day of playing in the water. Our best days are always beach days.
December 2013: Someone was feeling a little grinchy. Might have had something to do with the outfit.
One day, I started to overheat on the beach, so Mommy & Daddy filled up a box with ice and put me on it. Loooooove me some Tall Tales.
Is that a dog in a Kate Spade bag...? Why yes ma'am it is.
